Members of the Lords debated the invasion of Iraq, and what must be learned from it, on 18 June

Experts in defence, justice and the military debated legal, political and moral aspects of the invasion as well as the Government's proposals for an inquiry into the invasion.

In the House of Lords Members may table questions for debate, usually up to two hours and a half, on a specific issue or matter of concern. A minister responds on behalf of the Government.
