Lord Bradshaw introduced a debate in the House of Lords on 11 June on the quality and cost of - and level of crime on - public transport in the UK.

The discussion covered the railway industry, policy initiatives to tackle crime and the recent industrial action on London Underground, and heard from current and former spokespersons on transport.

In the House of Lords Members may table questions for debate, usually up to two hours and a half, on a specific issue or matter of concern. A minister responds on behalf of the Government.
