The House of Lords EU Foreign Affairs, Defence and Development Policy Sub-Committee inquiry into relations between the European Union and China continues at 10.35am.

Giving evidence to the Committee will be Professor Francois Godement, Senior Policy Fellow at the Paris office of the European Council on Foreign Relations, a pan-European think-tank launched in October 2007, to conduct research and promote debate across Europe on the development of European values based foreign policy.

The inquiry is focusing on the foreign, security and development policy aspects of the relationship, but will also cover key issues for bilateral cooperation such as human rights, the environment, and science and technology.
