Lords UK film and TV inquiry continues

Film distributors and the British Film Institute give evidence to the House of Lords Communications Committee inquiry into UK originated content in film and television continues at 10.30 am

Appearing before the Committee at 10.30am will be:

  • Mark Batey, Chief Executive, Film Distributors' Association;
  • David Kosse, President, Universal Pictures; and
  • Danny Perkins, Managing Director, Optimum Releasing

Appearing before the Committee at 11.30am will be:

  • Eric Fellner CBE, Deputy Chairman, British Film Institute; and
  • Amanda Nevill, Director, British Film Institute

The Committee's inquiry examines the contribution of the UK film and television industries to the British economy and how this might be increased. It also looks at the cultural contribution of the industry and how current arrangements support UK investment and jobs.
