The Political Parties and Elections Bill's journey through the Lords continued on 15 June with the first day of report stage - line by line examination of the Bill.

Members of the Lords discussed clauses (parts of the Bill) 6-16 and voted on three suggested amendments (proposals for change) to the Bill.

The second day of report stage takes place on 17 June.

The Bill makes some amendments to the regulation of party funding and election expenditure set out in the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000.
