Further line by line examination of the Political Parties and Elections Bill took place in the Lords on 17 June.

Members of the Lords discussed clauses 23-35 of the Bill and voted on three suggested amendments (proposals for change) to the Bill.

Third reading - the final chance for the Lords to change the Bill - takes place on 24 June.

The Bill makes some amendments to the regulation of party funding and election expenditure set out in the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000.
