Members of the Lords debated the NHS’s role in learning from and promoting medical and scientific research, clinical teaching, health care delivery and social enterprise and cohesion on 25 June

Members with experience and expertise as doctors, nurses, scientific advisors, NHS management and patients spoke about subjects including regulation, research, funding, ethics and standards.

In the House of Lords Members may table questions for debate, usually up to two hours and a half, on a specific issue or matter of concern. A minister responds on behalf of the Government.
