British film and TV industries inquiry continues

Representatives from Aardman Animations and Warner Brothers Productions are among the witnesses giving evidence to the House of Lords Communications Committee inquiry into UK originated content in film and television continues at 10.30 am

Appearing before the Committee at 10.30am will be:

  • Tim Bevan CBE, Co-Chairman, Working Title Films
  • Roy Button, Managing Director, Warner Brothers Productions, and
  • Tracey Scoffield, independent producer.

Appearing before the Committee at 11.30am will be:

  • Miles Bullough, Head of Broadcast, Aardman Animations, and
  • Charles Sturridge, Chairman, Directors UK.

The Committee's inquiry examines the contribution of the UK film and television industries to the British economy and how this might be increased. It also looks at the cultural contribution of the industry and how current arrangements support UK investment and jobs.
