Committee investigation into Omagh bombing continues

The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee continues its investigation focusing on the sharing of intelligence relating to the Omagh bombing and lessons learnt in the intervening ten years. Watch from 2.10pm.

Witnesses include Mr Jason McCue, Partner, H2O Law, who led the legal team for the Omagh families’ civil action which resulted in the naming of four men as liable for damages arising from the Omagh Bombing. The Committee will then hear evidence from Dame Nuala O’Loan, who was Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland 1999-2007 and author of a 2001 report on the Omagh bombing, from 3pm.
