As part of its scrutiny of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive, the House of Lords EU Sub-Committee on Economic and Financial Affairs and International Trade takes evidence from organisations that represent alternative financial services industries, at 10.35am.

The Committee aims to find out the alternative investment industries view on whether the objectives of the Directive are sensible, what problems might be envisaged for members of the organisations giving evidence, and what changes they would like to see made to the Directive.

Giving evidence to the Committee will be:

  • 10.35am - Andrew Baker, Chief Executive, Alternative Investment Management Association
  • 11am - Simon Walker, Chief Executive, British Venture Capital Association
  • 11.30am - Peter Montagnon, Director of Investment Affairs, Association of British Insurers
