Coroners and Justice Bill: committee stage

Members of the Lords continued the line by line examination of the Coroners and Justice Bill on 13 July.
Amendments (proposals for change) discussed included clauses (parts) 62-104 of the Bill which covered witness anonymity and intimidation, gun and knife crime and other issues.

During committee stage every suggested change to the Bill can be discussed and every clause of the Bill has to be agreed to. Any Member of the Lords can take part and votes can happen.
The eighth day of committee stage takes place on 15 July.
