Coroners and Justice Bill: committee stage

Members of the Lords continued to examine the Coroners and Justice Bill during the eighth day of committee stage on 15 July
Amendments (proposals for change) discussed included clauses (parts) 106-122 of the Bill which covered the Sentencing Council for England and Wales, sentencing guidelines and other issues.

During committee stage every suggested change to the Bill can be discussed and every clause of the Bill has to be agreed to. Any Member of the Lords can take part and votes can happen.
