Health Secretary updates MPs on swine flu

Health Secretary, Andy Burnham, made a further statement to the Commons on swine flu, updating MPs on how the current situation is affecting the UK. He also told MPs about the launch of the national pandemic flu service later this week, aimed at easing pressure on frontline NHS staff.

Mr Burnham told the Commons that the phone and website service will be able to provide flu diagnosis and access to drugs without the need to go to GPs.
