In short ceremonies at the beginning of business on 29 and 30 June, three new Members of the Lords were introduced.

On 29 June two life Peers were introduced - Lord Freud, a Conservative Member, and Lord Kerr of Tonaghmore,

Baroness Kinnock of Holyhead, former MEP, was introduced on 30 June as a life Peer. She also holds the position of Minister of State for Europe in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Introduction ceremonies - lasting for around five minutes - take place in the Lords Chamber before each Member is able to take their seat in the House.
