Apprenticeships Bill: Lords committee stage

The House of Lords continued its line by line examination of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Bill on 14 October
Amendments (proposals for change) discussed covered clauses (parts) 61-87 of the Bill on issues including performance assessments, learning difficulties and apprenticeship training for 16 to 18 year olds and other young people.

During committee stage every suggested change to the Bill can be discussed and every clause has to be agreed to. Any Member can take part and votes can happen.
The eighth day of committee stage takes place on 15 October.
The Government Bill would change the law on a range of issues - from apprenticeships to enhancing training opportunities.
