From 12 October, the House of Lords continues scrutinising legislation and holding the Government to account.

Business in the Chamber this week includes oral questions to the Government on a range of issues and committee stage - line by line examination - of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Bill and the Policing and Crime Bill.

Lords committees hold evidence sessions on their inquiries in to the work and role of the Cabinet Office, the British television and film industries and more.
