Communications Committee questions BBC Director-General

The Director-General of the BBC, Mark Thompson, and representatives from the Television Skills Council give evidence to the Lords Communications Committee as part of its inquiry into the British television and film industries, starting at 10.30 am

The inquiry is examining the contribution of the UK film and television industries to the British economy and how this might be increased. It is also looking at he cultural contribution of the industry and how current arrangements support UK investment and jobs.
