Coroners and Justice Bill: Lords report stage

Members of the Lords continued the second day of report stage on the Coroners and Justice Bill on 26 October
Amendments (proposals for change) discussed included clauses (parts) 31-50 of the Bill on subjects covering offences, appeals to the Chief Coroner and persons suffering from diminished responsibility.
Votes (divisions) on amendments to the Bill took place, with the Government losing votes on the handling of military inquests and the abolition of common law defence of provocation.
