Lords Committee film and tv inquiry hears from BSkyB

Representatives from BSkyB will give evidence to the Lords Communications Committee continuing inquiry into UK- originated content in film and television at 10.30 am

Appearing before the Committee will be:

  • Sophie Turner Laing, Managing Director, Entertainment and News
  • David Wheeldon, Director of Public Affairs

The Committee's inquiry examines the contribution of the UK film and television industries to the British economy and how this might be increased. It also looks at the cultural contribution of the industry and how current arrangements support UK investment and jobs.
