Parliamentary Outreach events in the South West

is to hold four sessions for voluntary organisations across the South West of England to find out more about how Parliament works and how organisations can get involved with the work of the House of Commons and House of Lords.
Each session will cover:
- What Parliament is and what it does
- How groups can effectively engage with Parliament
- How Parliamentary Outreach can help your organisation
The time, date and venue for each event are as follows:
- 23 October - 11am–1pm
Exeter CVS, Wat Tyler House, King William Street, Exeter EX4 6PD (registration from 10.30am, networking buffet lunch from 1.00pm)
- 30 October - 2–4pm
The Southville Centre, Beauley Road, Southville, Bristol, BS3 1QG (registration from 1.30pm, tea, cake and networking from 4.00pm)
- 20 November - 11am–1pm
Redruth Community Centre, Foundry Row, Chapel Street, Redruth, TR15 1AN (registration from 10.30am, networking buffet lunch from 1.00pm)
- 27 November - 11am–1pm
The Albemarle Centre, Albemarle Road, Taunton, TA1 1BA (registration from 10.30am, networking buffet lunch from 1.00pm)
All workshops are free and places are available on a 'first come, first served' basis. Workshops include refreshments and networking opportunities.
