Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport, Chris Mole, answered a question from Labour MP, Sally Keeble, on the need for improvements to rail services in Northampton

Question Time is an opportunity for MPs and Members of the House of Lords to ask government ministers questions. These questions are asked at the start of business in both chambers and are known as 'oral questions'.

Each government department answers questions according to a rota called the Order of Oral Questions. The questions asked must relate to the responsibilities of the government department concerned.
