Members of the Lords considered the third reading of the Coroners and Justice Bill on 5 November.

In the final chance to change the Bill, amendments (proposals for change) discussed covered clauses (parts) 1-177 of the Bill on subjects including the duty to investigate certain deaths, powers of coroners and the duty or power to suspend or resume investigations.

The Bill has been returned to the House of Commons for MPs to consider Lords amendments.
