Evidence sought on new early years single funding formula

The Children, Schools and Families Committee has invited written evidence on the early years single funding formula. This follows the Committee’s oral evidence session on 28 October.

The inquiry will examine:
- the expected impact of new local funding formulae on providers of early years education and childcare services
- difficulties which have been encountered in drawing up new funding formulae, and how they are being overcome
The Committee asks for written submissions by Tuesday 1 December 2009.
