Home Office response to terrorist attacks

The Home Affairs Committee hears evidence on the Home Office's response to terror attacks from witnesses involved in preventing, investigating, and prosecuting such attacks. Watch from 10.30 am

Witnesses include:

  • 11.15am Sir Ken Macdonald QC, former Director of Public Prosecutions
  • 11.40am Keir Starmer QC, Director of Public Prosecutions

Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP, Chairman of the Committee, said:

Andy Hayman the former Assistant Commissioner with responsibility for counter-terrorism operations has very publicly expressed his concerns about the UK's counter-terrorism structures and we will be interested to hear the views of those with current and former responsibility in this area."
