Parliamentary Outreach shortlisted for award

are delighted that has been short listed for the International DaDaAwards in the 'Arts Award' category for her artistic achievements during the last year and specifically for her work with on the project.

The International DaDaAwards celebrate excellence in the work of deaf and disabled artists. They are currently held every year as part of DaDaFest and the awards will be presented at a prestigious evening dinner event held on 3 December at the Hilton Liverpool, coinciding this year with International Day of Disabled People and 1000 days until the opening of the Paralympic Games in London in 2012.

The shortlisted selection for the 'Arts Award' category is now open to a public vote through online voting or postal votes. If you are interested in finding out more information about the DaDaAwards or to vote for Rachel Gadsden and Parliamentary Outreach in the 'Arts Award' category, please visit the DaDa website and follow the instructions below:

  1. When you visit the Dada Website for the first time you are requested to select a format to suit your access requirements and then you are then directed to the DaDa homepage.
  2. After arriving at the home page click on DaDaFest (swirl pattern) icon at the top of the page.
  3. Click on 'Nominees' on the left-hand side.
  4. Scroll down and click on 'Arts Award'.
  5. Select your choice.

Alternatively, postal votes can be sent to: DadaAwards, DaDa Disability and Deaf Arts, The Bluecoat, School Lane, Liverpool, United Kingdom, L1 3BX. The closing date for votes is Tuesday 1 December at 5pm.
