Members of the Lords discussed the first day of report stage of the Policing and Crime Bill on 3 November

Amendments (proposals for change) discussed covered clauses (parts) 11-14 of the Bill on subjects including police equipment, police procedures and practices and paying for sexual services of a prostitute subjected to force in England and Wales.

Further line by line examination of the Bill takes place during report stage and allows Members of the Lords to revisit issues discussed previously. All suggested changes to the Bill can be discussed and votes can take place.

A second day of report stage takes place on 5 November.
