Wales: rail and cross-border transport inquiry

The Welsh Affairs Committee, joined by the Welsh Assembly's Enterprise and Learning Committee, will take evidence today in Cardiff from train companies Arriva and First Great Western about future rail infrastructure in the principality. The meeting is held in the Assembly's committee rooms 1 and 2 and you can watch live from 11am.

The Committees will also be examining cross-border transport for Wales.

The witnesses are:

11am: Train operating companies

  • Arriva
  • First Great Western

12 midday: Regional Transport Consortia

  • SE Wales Transport Alliance
  • South West Wales Integrated Transport Consortium
  • TRaCC: Mid-Wales Transportation
  • TAITH: Transport web sites for the people of North Wales
