Forensic Science Northern Ireland is a Government Executive Agency within the Northern Ireland Office and is the only forensic science laboratory in Northern Ireland. 80 per cent of its work is into serious crime.
The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee looks at how the service will meet future challenges, for example preparing for the devolution of criminal and justice powers, cost and funding issues, and how it works with other organisations.
