Chris Bryant, Minister for Europe at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, answered an urgent question from David Liddington, Conservative Shadow Foreign Affairs Minister

Urgent question on the impact of the exchange rate movements on the Foreign and Commonwealth Offices counter-terrorism programme, particularly in Pakistan.

Urgent Questions are asked at the end of Question Time. If something has happened, normally a matter of public importance, which a MP believes requires an immediate answer from a government minister, he may apply to the Speaker to ask an urgent question. If the latter agrees, the question will be asked at the end of regular Question Time.
