Inquiry continues into collapse of Dairy Farmers’ co-operative

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs holds the latest evidence session in its inquiry into the collapse of the Dairy Farmers of Britain co-operative. Watch live from 4.00 pm

The witnesses - from 4pm - are:
- Rob Knight, former Chairman of Dairy Farmers of Britain (DFB)
- Philip Moody, former Board Member of DFB
- Andrew Cooksey, former Chief Executive of DFB
The inquiry is examining the implications of the collapse of DFB and is considering in particular:
- the impact of the collapse of DFB on dairy farmers and the industry
- the governance and accountability structures of DFB
- Defra’s response to the collapse of DFB
- the causes and lessons to be learned from the collapse of DFB
It is not examining the issues surrounding the receivership of the co-operative that are expected to be covered in the report by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
