Video Bill: Lords third reading
21 January 2010 (updated on 22 April 2010)
The third reading of the Video Recordings Bill took place in the House of Lords on 20 January with no debate
The Bill makes the age-rated classification and supply controls contained in the Video Recordings Act 1984 enforceable in UK courts.
As the Bill is being fast-tracked through Parliament, it now awaits Royal Assent when it will become an Act of Parliament (law) on 21 January.
