Members of the House of Lords discussed the importance of enterprise and innovation in stimulating economic growth on 4 February

The discussion covered subjects including promoting enterprise in the private sector, manufacturing, the recession, the creative industries, small and medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurship.

In the House of Lords Members may table questions for debate, usually up to two hours and a half, on a specific issue or matter of concern.

A minister responds on behalf of the Government.
