Liaison Committee to question Prime Minister

MPs on the Liaison Committee hold their fifth evidence session with the Prime Minister, Rt Hon Gordon Brown, continuing the regular twice yearly sessions the Committee holds with the PM on a range of domestic and international issues. Watch live from 2pm.
The session usually lasts for up to two and a half hours. Notice of the questions is not given to the Prime Minister, but questioning is based on a limited number of themes.
The questions to the Prime Minster will fall under the broad themes of:
- Dealing with the Deficit
- Invigorating Democracy
- Counter-terrorism Policy
- Foreign Affairs
- On being Prime Minister
The session will be held in the Boothroyd Room, Portcullis House and will be open to members of the press with Houses of Parliament passes and other full passholders.

The Committee is appointed to consider general matters relating to the work of select committees; to advise the House of Commons Commission on select committees; to choose select committee reports for debate in the House; and to hear evidence from the Prime Minister on matters of public policy.
