The Public Administration Select Committee takes evidence from Sir Christopher Kelly, the Chair of the Committee on Standards in Public Life. Watch live from 10.00 am

The past year has not been a regular year, however, and questioning is likely to concentrate on the CPSL's work on MPs' expenses and allowances, as well as the impact of this on the CSPL's wider programme.

The Committee on Standards in Public Life was set up by John Major in response to issues around "sleaze", and has since played a large role in designing the framework for enforcing ethical behaviour in government.
