The Committee on Public Accounts holds an evidence session on 'Treating Injury and Illness arising on Military Operations'. Watch live from 3.30 pm

Witnesses

3.30 pm

  • Bill Jeffrey KCB, Permanent Under-Secretary
  • Lieutenant General Robert Baxter CBE, Deputy Chief of Defence Staff (Health)

The evidence session follows a National Audit Office (NAO) report 'Treating Injury and Illness Arising on Military Operations' which found that the clinical treatment and rehabilitation of service personnel seriously injured on military operations is highly effective, adding that the rate of illness and minor injury among personnel on operations has almost doubled in three years.
