Constitutional Reform Bill: Lords second reading

On 24 March Members of the House of Lords with experience in the fields of law and the constitution, took part in the second reading, the debate on the general issues, of the Constitutional Reform and Governance Bill

Discussions during second reading of the Bill covered issues including trust in democracy and the principles of transparency, accountability and probity across Parliament and Government.

A date for committee stage - detailed examination of the Bill - is yet to be scheduled.
