MP for West Lancashire, Rosie Cooper, introduced a House of Commons adjournment debate on problems with road gritting in her constituency during the recent spell of bad weather

Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport, Chris Mole, responded for the Government.

Adjournment debates are a way of having a general debate in the House of Commons without requiring the House to vote. The MP who tabled the subject of the debate will speak first and a Government minister will reply.
