Labour MP, Anne Snelgrove, introduced a short House of Commons adjournment debate on the issues surrounding the provision of wi-fi internet access by Swindon Borough Council.

Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Barbara Follet, responded on behalf of the Government.

Adjournment debates are a way of having a general debate in the House of Commons without requiring the House to vote. The MP who tabled the subject of the debate will speak first and a Government minister will reply.
