Paul Burstow, Liberal Democrat MP for Sutton and Cheam, moved a debate in Westminster Hall on the government's national dementia strategy. Phil Hope, Minister of State at the Department of Health, responded to the debate

Mr Burstow is also a member of the Commons Public Accounts Committee which published its own report on the subject this week - Improving dementia services in Engand.

Westminster Hall debates

Westminster Hall adjournment debates allow MPs to discuss issues of local or personal interest which rarely have time to be debated in the main Chamber of the House of Commons. MPs can discuss a variety of issues and receive a response from a government Minister.
