South Antrim MP, Dr Willliam McCrea, introduced a Westminster Hall adjournment debate on the current state of the Presbyterian Mutual Society following its fall into administration.

Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Ian Pearson, responded on behalf of the Government.

Adjournment debates are a way of having a general debate in the House of Commons without requiring the House to vote. The MP who tabled the subject of the debate will speak first and a Government minister will reply.
