The Members Estimate Committee has published a supplementary report on the review of second home payments (Additional Costs Allowance). It includes the decisions on the remaining 14 appeals and provides an update on the repayments made.

Also published today is a list of changes to MPs’ second home designations, from April 2004. It also shows cases where the address of an MPs’ main home was changed at the same time, and where the change was from a claim for a second home to hotel stays. Please note that before 2005, Ministers had to register their main home as being in London.
