Transport Minister makes statement on BA strike

Sadiq Khan, Minister of State at the Department for Transport, answered an urgent question about the planned British Airways cabin crew strikes, which have been announced for 20 to 22 March and 27 to 30 March 2010.

Urgent questions
Urgent questions are asked at the end of Question Time. If something has happened - usually a matter of public importance - which an MP believes requires an immediate answer from a government minister, he may apply to the Speaker to ask an urgent question. If the latter agrees, the question will be asked at the end of regular Question Time.
