On Tuesday 6 April, the House of Lords held a short debate on the Middle East "road map for peace" and the role of Israel in this process.

The short debate was opened by Lord Dykes and involved several peers, concluding with a response from Baroness Kinnock of Holyhead, as the Minister of State for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Questions for short debate can be tabled by any Member, and usually last 60 to 90 minutes.
