Plymouth Sutton MP, Linda Gilroy, opened a short Westminster Hall adjournment debate examining measures to tackle crime in the Plymouth area

Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department, Alan Campbell, responded for the Government.

Adjournment debates are a way of having a general debate in the House of Commons without requiring the House to vote. The MP who tabled the subject of the debate will speak first and a Government minister will reply.
