Five Commons committees to hold public evidence sessions

The Commons Treasury, Health, Home Affairs, Business, Innovation and Skills and Welsh Affairs select committees will hold public evidence sessions on 20 July.

Treasury Committee

The Treasury Committee will take evidence on the Office for Budget Responsibility from;

  • Sir Alan Budd, Chairman, Office for Budget Responsibility
  • Graham Parker CBE, Member, Office for Budget Responsibility
  • Geoffrey Dicks, Member, Office for Budget Responsibility

at 10.30am in the Grimmond Room, Portcullis House.

Home Affairs Committee

The Home Affairs Committee will take evidence on the Immigation Cap from;

  • The British Chambers of Commerce, and Federation of Small Businesses
  • Damien Green MP, Minister for Immigration, Home Office (at 11.45am)
  • Lin Homer CB, Chief Executive, UK Border Agency (at 12.15pm)

at 11am in the Wilson Room, Portcullis House.

Health Committee

The Health Committee will take evidence on the responsibilities of the Secretary of State for Health from;

  • Rt Hon Andrew Lansley CBE MP, Secretary of State for Health

at 11am in the Thatcher Room, Portcullis House.

Business, Innovation and Skills Committee

The Business, Innovation and Skills Committee will take evidence on the work of the department from;

  • Rt Hon Vince Cable MP, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills
  • Rt Hon David Willetts MP, Minister for Universities and Science, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills

at 11.30am in committee room 15 of the House of Commons.

Welsh Affairs Committee  

The Welsh Affairs Committee will take evidence on the work of the Secretary of State for Wales from;

  • Rt Hon Cheryl Gillian MP, Secretary of State for Wales

at 11.45am in committee room 8 of the House of Commons.
