Commons select committee members appointed

The members of the majority of Commons select committees have been nominated by the House of Commons and approved in the Commons Chamber.
Membership details for most departmental committees, the Political and Constitutional Reform, Public Administration, Public Accounts and Science and Technology committees and the Joint Committee on Statutory Instruments can be found in the Votes and Proceedings for Monday 12 July.
The majority of Chairs of Commons Committees were elected by the House of Commons on 9 June 2010 following the adoption of recommendations from the Reform of the House of Commons Committee.
