Constitutional and political reform proposals

Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, made a statement to the House of Commons on 5 July 2010 on political and constitutional reform. The statement outlined plans for fixed-term parliaments, holding a referendum on changing the voting system to elect MPs to Westminster and reducing the number of MPs.
