Lord Taylor of Goss Moor, Lord Reid of Cardowan and Baroness Eaton introduced in the House of Lords.

Liberal Democrat life Peer Lord Taylor of Goss Moor, Labour life Peer Lord Reid of Cardowan and Conservative life Peer Baroness Eaton took their seats in the House of Lords following short introduction ceremonies at the beginning of business on Thursday 22 July.

These introductions are the latest to take place among new life Peers whose membership was announced in May.

The introduction ceremony must take place in the Lords Chamber before each new Member is able to take their seat in the House.

During the ceremony, new Members either swear an oath or solemnly affirm their allegiance to the Queen; they also sign an undertaking to abide by the House of Lords Code of Conduct.
