MPs debate police service funding

Nick Herbert, Minister of State for the Police, moved a debate in the House of Commons on 14 July to approve the Police Grant Report. The report specificies the aggregate amounts of grants to each police authority in England and Wales

Debates are an opportunity for MPs to discuss government policy, proposed new laws and current issues. It allows MPs to voice the concerns and interests of their constituents.
