Prime Minister's Questions: 13 October 2010

Prime Minister, David Cameron, answered questions from MP's on subjects including, Afghanistan, the death of British aid worker Linda Norgrove, changes to child benefit, graduate tax and science funding. This was the first time that the new Leader of the Opposition and Leader of the Labour Party, Ed Miliband, has taken part in Prime Minister's Questions.

Starting at 12pm, the Prime Minister answers questions from MPs in the Commons for half an hour every Wednesday.
In most cases, the session starts with a routine ‘open question’ from an MP about the Prime Minister's engagements. MPs can then ask supplementary questions on any subject, often one of current political significance.
Opposition MPs follow up on this or another topic, usually led by the Leader of the Opposition, Ed Miliband. Normally, he is the only MP allowed to come back with further questions.
